Steeped in superstition and tradition, haint blue is used on porch ceilings (door and window frames, too) throughout the South to protect homes from natural and supernatural pests.

20 years ago the area of New Riverside had a road with a few homes and not much else scattered among a whole lot of trees. Now the New Riverside area is home to several neighborhoods, schools, and the newest Bluffton park as well as New Riverside Village, a thriving commercial center that is just beginning to expand.
