Veterans Day
Every November 11th, we pause and reflect on the profound sacrifices made by the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Veterans Day isn’t just federal holiday; it is a solemn and necessary acknowledgement of the dedication, bravery, and selflessness of America's veterans.
Veteran’s Day began as "Armistice Day" in 1919, commemorating the end of World War I. Following World War II and the Korean War, the day was expanded to honor all who have served our country in uniform, in times of both war and peace.
The true strength of our nation is built on the foundation of our veterans’ commitment. The freedoms and security we enjoy daily are not accidental; they are the direct result of their willingness to put their lives on hold—and on the line—to protect the ideals we hold dear.
While a heartfelt "thank you for your service" is a great start, do more. Supporting veteran-owned businesses, volunteering at a local VA facility, or donating to a reputable veteran service organization turns a “thank you” into action.
This Veterans Day, move beyond a single day of recognition. Let our veterans’ service inspire us to be better citizens, to support their ongoing needs, and to ensure their legacy of courage and commitment is never forgotten.
To all those who have served we offer our deepest gratitude. Your sacrifice is the bedrock of our freedom. We salute you today, and every day.
